cel confusion??
so i have a cel on my h22 civic ek, i have been trying to determine what it means with no luck. I have gone to a dealership and they were unable to read it because the tool didnt recognize the cel. i also tried jumping it with no luck. however, even when the ignition key is turned to the acc mode the light is on... shouldnt it only come on when the car is on?? what could this mean? the car is running a chipped p28 with a p13 program. the engine is obd2 (1997)

The light should have power when it's on, the ECU closes the ground side of the light's circuit. Maybe that wire going to the ECU has rubbed thru & it's shorting to ground somewhere?
