CEL comes on when i put it in reverse

CEL comes on when i put it in reverse
ok code 6 (ect) comes on when i put it in reverse.. i diconnected the reverse plug and put it in reverse, no code ... why would this trip the cel..

some thing is prob wired wrong or harness is pinched some where. can you give us more info on you set up. ie motor size, man or auto, any recent wiring issues etc.etc.

i am going to look at it more today.. probably take some of the wiring apart... i have a 95 b18c1 running pre obd with a pr3 ecu.. stock 88 hf wire harness... and i dont have a o2 sensor hooked up at the moment.. but that doesnt even throw a code.. but it is in the same bundle as the reverse signal and ect sensor..

hahaha, yeah, might be a wiring issue.
