Ok ive got an 88 crx hf with 91 si ecu and mpfi and d16y8/y7 with a 1 wire o2 sensor.
I keep getting the code 1 cel. But i cant find the car to be running bad.
I tried to unplug it to test it with a voltagemeter. But i sadly cant get the harness unplugged. how come they never put that **** in the manuals!
Now i know you guys are gonna say just switch to obd1.
Well i will but i wont be able to do it for a couple of months.
I just want to fix this problem so i can see if the ecu is throwing any other codes . cause it wont let me get past the code 1. Just keeps blinking about every 1-2 secs.

If the ECU were throwing other codes, it would spit them out after it throws out the first code. It doesn't keep codes from you until you fix the ones that popped up before it (that would kinda be retarded, don't you think).

Has it run without throwing the code before? The reason I ask is maybe it needs a different 02 sensor? D16Y8/7 use 4 wire 02 sensors. But the 91 si ECU? I don't know.
Just guessing... suppose this is a bump. TTT

Re: What can i do about the O2 code i keep getting. Please make it stop. (flood)
well if it is throwin more than one code i wouldnt know because of the way it blinks
it doesnt keep a good beat. first blink is fast (the instant i turn on the car) then the gaps
are sometimes 1 sec sometimes 1 and 1/2 sec. Its confusing.
Anyway i could bypass the o2 (without a chip)
Plus, i cant get them damn thing unplugged from the harness. Anyone know how to do this. I know it sounds stupid
