Cel Code 9 Assistance Please
My 99' B18b1 teg is flashing cel code 9.
Its said that the code is:
CYP Sensor (Cylinder) defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor
* invalid code for throttle body injection Hondas
** invalid code for V6 engines
Where is this sensor and how 'critical' is this problem?
I havent noticed any performance decreases, but I would like to get this problem fixed as soon as I can.
I would appreciate any help!
Thank you very much!

Re: Cel Code 9 Assistance Please (salbaje)
thanks for the reply!
Yea, i've tried resetting the ECU... The light usually comes back ~2-3 days after with ~150miles of driving. I've taken off the distributor housing (cap) and wasnt able to get any further because i wasnt able to take off the rotor.. But should the light turn off if the problem is solved? or do i have to always reset the ecu?
Thanks

It would flash slowly if its 90 and fast if its 9. You can't really compare though. If you have an autozone near you, they will check the code for free.
