Default CEL code 67?? what does this mean??

Ey yo guys need some help decipherin what this check engine light code means.......ive got a 99 Si (b16a2) and ive got a CEL code 67--i looked it up and im not too sure what is wrong/ any help would be greatly appreciated on what it is & also how i can fix it cuz i tried ta pull tha ecu fuse ta get tha check engine light to turn off but it just came on again.....

Then try HERE for your codes Spade.

67 is a Catalytic Converter code...do you have both O2's installed along with the Cat?

naw ive got an Apexi N1 catback/ maybe my o2 sensors bad?? appreciate tha help guys

does the light come on every time you drive the car or is it more like every 2nd or 3rd time?

If it's every time then it's more likely a bad O2 sensor. If it not every time, then it's more likely your cat.

yea my car burps a 67 every 750-1500 miles or so. I have a 67000 mile cat on my car... pretty sure the fokker is kinda clogged

yea this damn light is on all tha time/ ive already tried to remove tha ecu fuse to turn it off but i comes back on.....i had no idea o2 sensors were so expensive either daaaaaaaaaamn!!

Just leave the light on.....it will remind you that you need to fix something.


Of course it took me about 6 months to get off my *** and splice some wires but, I could always show someone I beat them while throwing a code

You could fix this with a o2 sim, then you could gut or remove your cat. Otherwise I would think it's the cat. The ecu makes no revisions for that code, nor does it make any adjustments from that sensor, so you can drive all you want with it on.
