code 22 = (VTPS) VTEC Pressure Switch (the green plug on the vtec solenoid)

what motor are you running in your 97 civic?

well first is the obvious.....is the VTPS plugged in? if it its, then is your car wired up at the ecu for VTEC at all? I should ask, how long ago did you perform the engine swap ?

Could be but before you jump and mess with the ecu, check the basics....you know, wiring, the pressure switch, oil pressure, etc. Odds are it's probably to low on oil or something like that.

Not sure, but check your oil level. Alot of times when cars ( mostly GSR's) come to my shop with a cel, it comes out to be a code 22. When I check the oil level, it turns out to be about 2 quarts low and in some cases, almost dry. But again, this is just to help you get pointed in the right direction.
