For all you Tech Guru's .....Stroker for a D16a1 ?? Thanx
is there another honda crank that can be used in a D16a1 to make it a stroker....D16a1 = first gen Integra or equivalent to a JDM Zc .....is there a straker kit available for SOHC d16's , if so would they be compatible with the D16a1 .....any help or ideas will be greatly appreciated ..thankx in advance
Only thing I know of for that motor is having it sleeved. JG, for example, has a 79mm sleeve kit which makes the motor a 1.8L.
hmmm...yeah....i've heard about that...btu lots of my G1 freinds been looking for a good stroker kit....one guy told us he could make one, but it'll cost 5k .....i was trying ot find out if some other honda crank could work with the D16a1 ....that could turn it into a stroker....i say just swap a B16 in there...but some peeps stil wanna hold onto that d16
Man, that engine is gonna have one nasty r/s ratio with a stroker crank.
5k is ridiculously expensive. If I were gonna increase the displacement of my D16A1 (I'm building it now for my CRX), I would get Golden Eagle sleeves and run 77 or 78mm pistons. It'd probably cost ~$1500 for everything.
