CEL with 2000 gsr testpipe
i think that it mite negate any gains youll get from the testpipe by changing its fueling and timing values due to the cel.
ohh so the CEL does make the car slightly slower correct??
are there any cheap alternatives to preventing the CEL from comming on
and by the way im coverting my car to obd1 soon.. so im sure that will permanantly fix the problem

WHen you vehicle throws a cell, it goes into "limp mode" and VTEC will not engage.
Take your secondary O2 and wrap it in aluminum foil. then tuck it away somewhere where it won't get damaged. Then clear your ECU and your done.
BTW, you can get a $3,000 fine for having a test pipe.

This is how to fix your light and keep your pipe. The secondary o2 sensor is there only to check catalytic convert efficiency. If you zip tie it and let it breath free air, which is about 21% o2, it will not throw a code because it sees clean air.
