Icon2 catch can/breather on lsvtec help

i have an lsvtec that currently isnt finished due to catch can problems. i have an ls block (b18b1) with a gsr head. i got a catch can/breather from jegs and installed it with a return line from the bottom, a friend of mine helped me and had his hooked up like this on his. only problem is, the oil will not return back to the motor, just fills up the can and starts overflowing out of the breather. he said something wasnt hooked up right but ive chekced it multiple times. any suggestions???? any help is appreciated. thanks

For this to work they need to be mounted up high.
Also what line did you hook the drain to?
Your suppose too remove the black box and put a fitting there.
It's like a 12an fitting and that hooks to the bottom of the can.

Bt I would be winding why the can is getting full so fast.
My turbo y8 never filled the can and there was no drain back.

im using 10an fittings. the can is mounted on the firewall as high as it could possible be. my block didnt have the balck box. its from a 97, pvc valve was in the valve cover of the ls head. i have the block fittings and ran both lines from the top of the can to them. i ran the drain into the left line as close to the block as i could with a t. a friend of mine did his like that and had no issues. i also seen pics of someone else with it ran the same way. so the other day i removed the block fittings and put the plugs back in and tapped my valve cover and just ran the two top lines from the can to them with no return line. it seemed to work for the first day but the next day somehow the can filled again. really didnt think much oil would go to the can from the back of the valve cover. really starting to lose hope. my car has no pvc system so i need the can to relieve crankcase pressure.
