Default Car won't start? What could the problem be?

Car won't start unless being jump started... I've already tested out the Battery and alternator and everything looks normal. What could the problem be? I do notice my lights flickering when the car is on.... Do any of you guys have a clue on what it could be? thanks

most likely it is the alternator or the battery. My guess is the battery. Try swapping in a different battery and see what happens.

How did you test the battery and alternator?
If the car runs fine after the jump start and your charge light is not on it is more than likely not the alternator.
You might have a constant power drain somewhere that is running your battery dead after you turn the car off, or your battery is not accepting a charge.

Same query. Unless you had the battery load tested there is no way to really tell. If it only starts with a jump and then runs fine, it sounds like a battery.

I swaped out a brand new battery to see what happens, and the same conclusion. Turn the key and the car just wont turn. This is really odd. Any other advise?

WHen jumping it where are you putting the ground clamp? On the body? If so maybe the ground cable to battery is bad.

when you say that my battery is not accpeting charge, what could be causing it?

Desslok- I've already considered that the ground cable could be bad, but confirmed it is not.

yea sounds like a bad battery to me, but you say you swapped and still the same. maybe try another diff. battery, also check your connections at the battery, clean the terminals and corrosion.

first make sure u have a good ground for your battery, then while the car is running remove the ground cable from the battery and see if the car still runs if it shutsoff then your alternator is bad or a short in the wires try that first then let us know what happens

this was already done. The car remained on and never died... I have exhausted all the troubleshooting that I know of and still without a clue on why this is happening..
