Default Brake Techs...Diagnose the noise??

Brakes work fine and stop on a dime. Problem is releasing the pedal after stepping on the pedal. It makes a "woosh" noise, almost like its sucking air or something. What is making the noise? At first I thought it was just my pedal lever making the noise when returning, but my friend says he can hear it from the outside. Brakes work fine, its just the noise that is driving me crazy.

sounds like your brake booster is leaking vacuum. How's your idle. cap off the brake booster hose and try to see if the noise goes away. if it does theres your problem.

Tested the booster as per helms manual(booster is okay) and the noise is still there. Any other diagnoses?
