Ok i did an engine swap into a 94 honda civic hatchback. I did a d16z6 and now the car wont start. Here is the run down... I check the spark in my wires and i am getting no spark in cylinder one's spark plug wire... changed the plug wires and the plugs and even bought a new distributor car still wont start. I got the car to start a couple of time and it bulges unbelieveably and back fires and then shuts off. im not sure of my fuel pressure as of this point. can someone please help me out
also just to make sure the number one cylinder spark plug wire goes directly on the bottome of the distirbutor correct?

 

put the motor at TDC and see the timing belt.
