so i was driving from SC to FL wednesday and my car all of a sudden wouldnt go over 70 and it felt like it was about to backfire....sure enough it did and it started to lose power. I pulled off the road and downshifted and it dies and wouldnt start. Got it towed 2 hrs to my parnets in FL. The next day i took off the distributor cap and the bolt that holds the rotor on had come off and messed up the rotor and cap. So i figure id replace them and id be good. Changed them this morning and nothing changed.
Then i got my coil tested....its fine. Also changed the ignitor and still nothing. I have no idea what to do next? somone please help me out.

Setup: 00 civic si w/ a b18c5 motor. Buddy club spec 4 cams and supertech valve springs.

 

Did you check for spark and fuel? Any CEL's? Maybe do a compression check and leak down test.
