Usually that's a bad starter solenoid, but since it keeps happening with 3 different starters... That has to be something like broken teeth off the flywheel.
the flywheel is fine and all and yea the timing belt is loose and when i mean loose meaning you can just slide the belt off , ive been trying to loosen the tensor bolt cuz is hard to loosen i shaven the bolt so now its hard to get the 14mm on it and isnt budgen i trie the gator grip thing and all it did was just shave it some more , do u think its becuz the timing belt is way loose?
OK, I was confused. When you said the engine doesn't crank, I thought you meant that the engine doesn't crank...
So now it sounds like the starter is cranking the engine, but the engine's not starting. If your timing belt is way off, you might not have any compression. Then when the engine cranks, it just spins fast as if your spark plugs were out. Is that what's happening? Or is the cranking OK with compression, it just doesn't start?

You're probably going to have to take the crank pulley & front covers off so you may as well change the timing belt. Cross your fingers & hope you haven't bent any valves.

I'm not sure about D-engines, but usually the tensioner bolt works like this... When you loosen the bolt, a spring pulls on the tensioner pully, then you tighten the bolt. The belt might be loose because it's stretched from age. If your belt is loose, you NEED to get the tensioner bolt loose so your tensioner pulley can take up the slack. And, since it's been loose, you need to check to make sure your camshafts haven't jumped timing.
thankx man ey one more question i wanted to how can hook up the vtec wire becuz if i do get it started i wont be runnin vtec , on the vtec soleniod theres a green with a yellow stripe wire thats cut and on the wire that goes for distributor the same was cut too , if i connect them together would my vtec engage
