Car takes forever to turn over
my car takes about 5-6 seconds to turn over, starter works fine, no problem
starter is grounded ok
only CEL im throwing is Engine Control Temp Sensor.
Specs
Walbro 255 LPH Fuel Pump
I modified my FPR to compensate the pressure
i dont know what else it could be...my coolant is green and my oil is clean so its not lack of compression due to a blown headgasket...what could it be?

ok when you say "turn over" does that mean it takes 5 to 6 seconds for the starter to begin spinning the engine
or does it mean it cranks normally, but the engine does not "fire" for 5 to 6 seconds.

starter cranks for about 5-6 seconds and then fire's up , i have a small vac leak but would that cause it not to fire for so long?

can you verify that fuel pressure builds quickly. There is a slim chance the fuel filter could be a bit plugged. Also, go after the temperature sensor code. Try to tackle the easy things first. sounds like you may be overcomplicating things a little.

ill replace the ECT sensor tommorow, i doubt it could be the fuel filter though i installed a new one less then a month ago.
