Car Stalls...
Ok, I have a 93 VTEC prelude. When I start my car cold it revs up to like 1.5-2 rpms as usual. Then I drive a little while and everything is normal. But then, after a little while of driving (say 2-3 minutes) whenever I put the clutch in the RPM's drop and the car stalls, and I have to re-start it. After it warms up, it stops stalling but the RPM's still fall a little farther then they should when I put the clutch in or the car is idaling... Other then that, the car is running fine.....any suggestions or easy fixes???
Its been happening like a month. What happens, is I start it and its fine, then it starts to warm up so the idle slows down to normal. THen I drive it, and if I put it in nuetral at all. Either by just popping it into nuetral or by putting the clutch in, it dies. Sometimes I try and keep my foot on the gas a little bit to keep it going. It runs perfectley smoothly at all times. Then, after I have driven it awhile, it stops happening. Though when put in nuetral the RPM's go much lower then they should. Normally You should put the clutch in and your RPM's should fall to 700-800. When my car is cold they fall all they way to stopped and after awhile it'll stay running but they'll fall pretty low, like maybe 500 RPMs. THen eventually after driving it awhile, it runs liek normal. Its weird and I wanna fix it, but I dotn have a lot of money.

Sounds like a vacc. hose problem to me. Make sure nothing has come loose or no hoses have developed a crack. Take a can of WD- 40 and spray on vacc hoses and see if that helps the car idel. Other than that u got me?????
Water Temp Sensor
Remove this and follow your SHOP Manual procedures to check it. You know how your car starts off at high idle and then lowers? This is typically what controls this. This is the official word of when the car is warmed up according to the ECU.
Throttle Body
Remove this and use brake cleaner to flush out all of the pin hole breather and bypass ports. Might want to polish it out while you have it out of the car as well
