Does your CEL come on for a couple seconds when your turn your key to the ON position? Just make sure there is a good bulb and connection after the swap. Have you checked your firing order and rotor to make sure they were oriented properly when installed? Also, if you've been cranking it a lot I would check or change your oil just in case you have some fuel contamination.

After all that do a compression test. If you've never had this motor running check the basics.

cel comes on and turns of. firing order on the cap and motor good. well change the oil since i have been cranking alot and will take out old fuel since it smells funny and kind of watery.
