Default Car not starting..electrical issue

sup guys, i have a obd1 gsr swap in my 94eg hatch and the car does not want to start. My timing is right on, im getting fuel, and i've got spark, Dizzy is brand spanking new out the box. when the key is on III position to start, the brake light in the cluster goes on. its not brake fluid or the sensor. IT seems like a ground or electrical issue. I've checked my thermostat ground, tranny to chassis ground, and valve cover ground. Nothing. Somebody please help me.

after trying to start the car i get a humming noise coming from the iac. sounds electrical to me.

The IAC will make a humming type sound, because its a duty controlled solenoid kinda like an injector. Are you getting good power to the ignitor/coil? CKPS output?

im not sure if the ignitor /coil is getting good power. i checked with a light tester i have and a few lit up wasnt sure wich ones i'm supposed to test. About the ckps i'm having confusions right now. its a 94 civic with a obd1 gsr harness with a obd1 gsr ecu isnt this eliminated? thanks

Is the ignitor module brand new? and the brake lights dont stay on whe the car is off? check the brake light switch on the pedal assembly...normaly the little plastic stoper breaks leaving it on all the time.

yea im using brand new ngk's, coil checks out on multimeter.

strange thing about this, and its why i call it an "electrical issue" is because after you crank the engine and you leave the switch open there's a constant electric humming noise coming from the e.a.c.v.

when i first tried to start car after the build it started for a second and a half then died. tried starting and had a loud pop from the intake. tried starting again and another pop. and that was the last sign of life is shown.

so i got a brake light in the cluster that only comes on when cranking the motor and a electrical humming from the eacv after cranking. its not normal neither one of them.

Back firing through the intake? Dumb question, but do you have the spark plug wires in the wrong firing order?

your problem sounds very simmilar to mine, i had spark, fuel, and thought the timing was on but it ended up jumping and had to adjust the belt itself, youd be suprised how easily they can jump
