Default Car Lift Question

My floor jack won’t get high enough to lift my wife’s Honda.
I was going to use a block of wood but then I found these jack extenders in a google search.

Looks like a great idea. Anybody tried these?

We have a set at the shop, the set came with our NAPA "Fast & Furious, [low profile] floor jack, they work great, we can even get 4X4s off the ground with the jack and the long adapter. 94

Haven't used the fancy ones but I use a block of 2x4 all the time when I need some extra lift.
