Hi! Curious to know if anyone here own these sanding block or ever use it before. I'm thinking it look good to sand down the car. Is it good, bad, expensive, worth the buy. Please help noob!

If money is an issue you can get by on homemade blocks. I personally use a 5"x5.5" piece of sheetmetal (~16 gauge AL) to do my block sanding with. I know it seems to go against most principles of bodywork (using a long board on big panels for example), but it does wonders because it won't flex. If you want your work really straight, I would recommend this route. It takes a lot longer but the results will show in the end. When I use to work in a Corvette restoration shop, my favorite block was a rolled up magazine. On those late 60s-70s Vettes, it was about the only thing you could use. I don't think there was a straight panel on the thing.

If money isn't an issue, a flexible sanding block is a worthy investment to any toolbox. They are more expensive than other blocks some have foam that's softer (therefore flexes more in areas you don't want it to) than you'd like. I'd get the small and medium sized ones as I've used the larger 24" one before and felt it was too hard to keep even pressure on. Good luck!

^x2 on the rolled up magazine thing. I used to do bodywork for a living and a rolled up mag came in handy on plenty of occasions.

i was personally thinking about buying the set of those K blocks to test them out.. since alot of honda cars do have some curves and arent all perfectly flat and straight.. The traditional sanding block has very minimal flex when u need some flex...

The k blocks are nice. I've been to a shop and handled them. I like the amount of flex they have. I think I'm going to buy one myself.

The "BEST SANDING BLOCK" Is a PAINT STICK. And that's no B.s all restoration hot rod shops tell you that.

i agree with the paint stick for smaller area's but i wouldnt want to block a whole hood with one. On a side note, I would also like to try those K blocks

You'd be suprise how people take a year to paint a car but the finish speaks for itself.

I will second that. It has just the right amount of flex.

I was stuck on what sanding block to buy for a while, but i just bought a Dura block. Not bad for the price. I originally wanted one of those bad a$$ AFS sanding block. I just said F'it and bought a Dura block.
