Im putting in a gsr head with a 3 angle valve job, ITR Valves, ITR springs and Retainers. also going to be getting a aftermarket Intake manifold and cam gears. Currently I have just the normal I H E. What cams would work the best with this setup? just the regular ITR cams? or Skunk 2 stage 1 or 2's? HELP me decide

 

Essentially what you have done is create a Type R head (well, close anyways), so the ITR or CTR cams would be ideal. What you have to do is consider your power goals, what type of use will the car see, etc. And use that to decide on a set of cams. I'm happy with my ITR cams and I doubt I will replace them with anything in the future unless lightning strikes me and I change my mind about my engine goals.

 

Ok, What I guess Im really wondering, is if skunk 2 stage 1 cams are worth the price compared to ITR/ ctr cams?
