I was offered a 1.6 engine out of a 96 civic for $50. It spun a bearing. I want to build this to put into my 89 crx hf. Can I put integra pistons in it to bump up comp.
I don't want( wife won't let me) to spend alot on this swap. I am just looking for something simple and cheap to make extra hp.

 

first of all, you have to replace that bearing and hope that nothing else is wrong with the motor, and as for pistons, just replace it with the jdm p30 b16a pistons.

 

I plan on replacing the bearings and having everything checked out. how much will the p30 b16a pistons help my performance?
