it would require a lot of work. for the $ youd spend fixing it, you could find one in running condition, for less.

dont buy it.

If the head isn't bare that's still a deal.
If there's valvetrain, lma's, cams, etc I would pick it up for 40 bucks

Ya its complete, minus the broken valves. But there's a shop here called heads up inc. That specializes in this kinda stuff I may call them for a quote.

honestly you probably could repair it, just take a dremel to it and take out all the sharp edges. and a valvejob should fix it up fine.

if the head isn't cracked, and you have free time. why not repair it?

Not exactly a "dremel" i was expecting someone to correct me and provide the correct tool. my machine shop has what seems like an industrial sized dremel and it'd clean that up REAL quick. i've had a head fixed that was similar to that and it worked perfectly. the spark plug hole looks like it needs a small bit of cleaning, and maybe a quick re-thread and it's good

there are chunks missing from that chamber. it's gonna need some welding and reshaping.

Ya if you look close pieces of the valve chamber are broken out, along with the the sparkplug chamber. Would take a lit of welding and "grinding". I can't imagine it'd ever be prfect again. Plus I need a head to use for a turbo build. I can't imagine when fixed, that it'd stand the xtra pressure.
