Default can this be a clutch problem?

i have an exedy organic clutch in my boosted civic. it's fairly new not even a year old and haven't been track tested yet.

lately, i noticed that when ever i first drive the car, whether 1st thing in the morning or the car was used then parked for a long time and used again, the clutch would drag(chatter perhaps?) shaking the car a bit like someone who's still learning to drive an M/T. but after driving like 15 mins or so then it doesn't do it anymore.

when the clutch was first installed, the only thing i noticed was a-bit-harder than stock feel and it doesn't do this drag/chatter thing. can i be clutch problem? can it be that the clutch is worn out already and slipping? or is it just pedal adjustment? when the clutch was installed the mechanic didn't adjust the pedal anymore coz he said the adjustment was already fine when he test drive it.

anybody experienced this?

Yes, that would be a clutch problem. That usually happens when you have a really big clutch yours could be from not having the flywheel resurfaced or it has now glazed over agian

how did the flywheel become glazed? this only happens during initial startup and usage after 20mins of driving, there's no chatter anymore so i guess its temperature dependent.

it is a clutch problem, that is clutch chatter, did you resurface your flywheel wen u changed the clutch? people say u can get away without resurfacing (depending on condition), but i dont recommend it. i say always resurface flywheel.
also, did u lubricate anything? like the tip of the diaphram, and throw out (release bearing)?
but i think it would most likely come from your flywheel, did you check it? any hot spots?

i don't think the mechanic who did the clutch install resurfaced the flywheel. i'm not sure if the throw out bearing was lubricated i think he should have lube it. i haven't check the condition of the flywheel yet but will soon do.

fly wheels become glzed from excessive heat, much like brake rotors
