Default camshaft question numer 2

ok im done installing my camshafts i went under the car and lined up the white like with the plastic piece u were sapposed to and then i went ahead put the new cams with the camgears on in my car i change the the timing on the gears to what the sheet said to do from skunk2 i put the cam shafts back in and installed all the stuff back on to it and put the valve cover back on ithink i installed everything properly but ive got one problem everything is turning fine the camshafts are turning fine the crankshaft is turning fine all the belts are turning fine im getting spark but its not firing up what do u guys think it might be??

Did you line up the white mark on your crank pulley with the timing pointer on the cover?

thank u everyone for ur help i did line the cranshaft to tdc on the first piston the one mistake i discoverd is that one of the camshafts was line up accross but it was pointing in the 3 position

but i fixed it up and she fired up like nothing

I hope you torqued your bearing caps. If not, they will freeze on you eventually. If you can make the mistake of not indexing the cams... I wouldnt doubt that you would be capable of that. Please check. This creates oil pressure for the head across the tree and very important for engine health. 19-20ft-lbs on the 12mms, 8ft-lbs on the 10mms. If you didnt do this, chances are you have about 500 miles to make funeral arrangements for your engine.
