Default camber question

would a 1.5in drop from prokit springs on a 95gsr (stock shocks) have any negative camber effects?

Not if you get a good alignment.

1.5 inch drop shouldn't affect the camber too much. But yea, as MistaBone said...get an alignment...as ur toe will be affected. That can kill ur tires too.

I put the Eibach Pro-kit (rated at 1.3" drop F/R) and I did need an alignment after the install.

I would recommend to always get an alignment after installing any kind of lowering springs...

Anytime you perform a suspension modification...get an alignment done.

Problem with lowering a car is that sometimes when your wheels/tires don't have a good offset, you lose performance. For instance, if your camber is a couple degrees off, it will angle your wheels outward - causing less traction, less performance. Plus as everyone else said, you will go though tires faster. Rotate often, get alignment...

offset DOES NOT effect alignment.

will I need a special alignment for just a pro-kit on a teg ?
I mean do I need to go to a special lowered car alignment ? they want like 100 at least to do alignment, as opposed to 60 bucks on goodyear...

Just something to remember, you should drive the car for at least a week before getting the alignment done. This will give everything a chance to settle, such as the springs into the pillowmounts. no sense getting it done twice.

i used to have eibach sportlines on my old dely and the drop was 1.5 the rear camber was perfect, front had a few degrees of negative camber. it never affected my tire wear or steering at all.

no alignment either.
