Default A/C problems..

i have a 98 integra and long time ago the r134a got low and the a/c wasnt blowing cold anymore. so i put some more in it but put too much in it. it didnt work obviously but said the hell with it. then sometime later i decided to take it to the dealership to have it all evacuated out of the system so i could start over. put some more in it and made sure i didnt overfill it. the a/c still doesnt blow cold.

the whole a/c system seems to be okay to me. the drier has never been changed so i got a brand new one and some more r134a. im hoping the new drier will fix it maybe its just full of oil. now can i just replace the drier and let all the 134a out and fill her back up? will the oil still be in there or will i need to add some? do you think this will make my a/c finally blow cold again? thanks!!

I believe you have to evactuate the whole system and then replace the parts needed to be replaced. And then once everything is connected, you have to vacuum out all the air and moisture before you recharge the oil and refrigerant.

Have the car running and then turn on the a/c. If you can hear the compressor clicking, then it's engaging.
