A/c belt removal?

Default A/c belt removal?

is it possible to take off my a/c belt for the dyno and then put it back on without getting a new belt.....could i take it off and put it on without strethching it too much? Ive heard of people taking the belts off powersteering and putting them back on but i dont have p/s so

Yes, I re-installed the same belts(alt, a/c,ps) when I did my timing belt and it worked fine.

can i adjust the tension on the p54bracket (b18c in civic)to make it easier to take off the belt right?

im pretty darn sure that you wont loose any power with the a/c belt on becuase the a/c compressor isnt even being used.

the power steering pump is always on though. u can gain a couple whp from removing that belt

are you sure im shure there is more parasitic drag the crank has one more pulley to turn....abviously its not going to be the same as having your a/c on vs a/c off

On B-series motors, you have to partially drop the driver-side lower engine mount to get the belt out, or you can just cut the belt and put a new one on later.
