Default bypassing knock sensor

Is there anyway to bypass the knock sensor or just trick the computer into not looking for it so you don't have a CEL. I don't want to rechip the computer just to get rid of the CEL, so i was hoping that there was a way to do it just like bypassing the secondary O2 sensor on an OBD2 car. What exactly is the computer looking for when a knock sensor is wired in and no knock is detected. I know that the KS converts vibrations into AC output voltage and sends that into the PCM. But if there is no knock there's not going to be any voltage, and if there's no sensor there isn't goin to be any so how does the ECU know? Thanks in advance! And also please don't listen to this kid who keeps postin stuff about me, rite under this post. (JDMek9)
