buyin a motor

i have some1 sellin a b16 wit tranny for $400 with 75k and it smokes, needs a seal or gasket probably, is this a good buy?

It's not too bad of a deal but I'd question the miles if a seal or gasket is bad and it smokes. It wouldn't be too good if it were the piston rings. Do a compression test and look for leaky, dirty spots
