burning oil?
aright well, my car was sitting for about 1 mounth because of an accident (no ingine dammage, all roof and widshield damage) and i got it fixed but the first day i drove it i noticed it was burning oil, and it wasnt doing it before i parked it, if i realy push the engine with my foor to the floor at about 4k + you can see smoke in my rear view mirror. wtf is going on? Oh and the head gasket is brand new, i did a head swap on it with a new intake gasket and head gasket.
There is one more thing, when i did the mini-me swap i forgot to take out the second oil jet in the d15 block, i dont think that that is the reson that its doing this because i had it like this for about 2 monthes before my car got wrecked.

it might be your seals...when rubber seals sit for a while with no lube they tend to crack like an old rubber band. and this will let oil through the seals and then burn and then exit through your exhaust.
my car was sitting for about a month. after about 3 weeks, i fixed the fuel leaks and did a compression test, i got 197 accros all four. when i did the test it wasnt burning any oil. when i fixed the top and got it legal again i t was burning a little oil, and now it is burning more oil then before. what chould be wrong, i dont think the rings are blown because i had good copression and i didnt drive it between when i did the compression test and now. i realy need some help, anyone got any suggestions? and where are the valve seals and are they hard to replace?
