its a 97 civic ex (canadian si)

checked the injectors and they are opening, unplugged the AEM and plugged my stock ecu in and it fired up, really bad but i mean at least i have something to work with. Now just have to figure out more of this EMS business. Thanks for the help everyone

I thought RC's were a direct install, no resister box needed ?


Glad you got it to fire.

You might want to contact one of the Tuners at the top of the Forced Induction forum here.

Or call someone like Tony1. Or AEM, see if you can talk to Devin Pierce at AEM. Here's kind of a god with AEM and Honda's.

yea with the peak and hold injectors you need one, and i think i will have to call someone from aem forsure

yup, everything seems to be going better, finally got the AEM up and now i just need to adjust it all and hopefully i am good to go.

I thought I asked this before,

I thought you didn't need a resistor box with RC injectors ?

I seem to recall our 450's were plug and play.

450's are ok without a resistor, i have 1000cc peak and hold, they require the resistor box

but he's running an aem ems right

i though that system is injector friendly (need only tell it what its pushing) and needs no risistor box

i dunno just asking
