Default buildup around cylinders

ok i started tearing down a gsr motor that i got. 133k miles on it. Anyway there is a blue-ish whitish greenish type substance built up around the outside of the cylinder walls. The car sat for about a year before i bought it and pulled the motor but im just wondering if this stuff needs to be cleaned out of there asap or can i wait till i get the block completely torn down and hot tanked?

You can wait until you get it tanked. Its dried coolant, been there for a year,a little longer won't matter now.
