Default O-ringing sleeves?

Hey guys I just got my motor back and the builder said he went ahead and o-ringed the cylinders...though I had declined it when I got the estimate. He said I needed to have it done and did it for free. My buddy who is a pretty knowledgable builder/tuner said its really not a good idea and I will probably blow the motor in 5-10,000 miles?

Jim Justice...I just spend like $15,000 on this build so it scared me to death to think about blowing the motor after 10,000 miles....

I use AEBS full sleeve block with Copper O-Ring. All I have to say is, x 10000.

Hmm sounds good then. I just wanted to get this off my shoulders. I've been stressing enough as it is with this whole build and getting everything finished by April 25th. Hoping to get the motor back in the car tonight. I just gotta hope the turbo kit fits right now..

I always thought if the sleeves were step decked then you shouldnt o-ring them but if they arent then you should.Either way Jim Justice is the man and he knows whats best

Yea I hear he's really good and Mr. Jeff Evans reccommended me to him, and I'd trust that guy with any car of mine so I guess I should just stop worrying. Thanks
