GSR or ITR head bolts => 1/4" longer than B16/LS. ......USE THEM! End of discussion.

Put the girdle on. It's only an extra hundred or so to get everything machined. How much is piece of mind worth to you.

I agree with that, esp. if ur not rev'ing past 8.

Extra peace of mind adds up when doing a swap, I mean a couple hundred for rods, for peace of mind, couple extra hundred for fordged pistons, etc etc etc.

If i had alot of money, i'd have peace of mind and a fully built motor, but I feel alot of people are in the same boat as me, wants to do what NEEDS to be done, but doesnt want to waste money.

How much machining is involved if i use the gsr main caps and the gsr girdle.
