Default Building LS/Vtec For Boost

I'm going to build myself and LS/Vtec to run some boost on. I'd say about 14-16psi. But I'm not sure on how to build it. I want to use a B18C5 head and a b18b block. What do I need to do in order to reach my goals?

well, check your compression ratio first. you will want a low one. build up your bottom end with some pistons, piston rods, sleeves...ect.

and if you haven't bought anything yet, go B20. And don't even worry about a VTEC head if you're gonna boost it. Crower makes breathe-easy cams that can substitute for the VTEC lobes so highly sought after.
B20Z and a T3/T4 with like .63 Turbine AR. <<-- Might be fun

Yes but B20 selvees aren't as strong as LS selvees. I could get a LS block reselveed to 84mm and still have it cost less then a b20. or am I wrong? Last thing I want to do is crack a cyl wall.

a ls sleeve block will cost a little more than a stock b20 block. Well, it's all depend on how cheap you get the block for.
