I just got pulled over this morning for modified exhaust ( which is not too unusual or anything ) but instead of giving me a ticket for Modified exhaust ( which they know is not illegal ) they give me a ticket for VC 27156 which seems to be a new one that i had not seem them give before..This ticket is more based on Air Resources Board and smog emissions..Reading more they do have a exemption for this ticket but you have to prove that the "product has been determined not to cause any increase in vehicular emissions"..This ticket does require that you get the car smogged and tested by a B.A.R. only station..I just thought i would let you cali people know as i had not heard about this VC yet..The funny thing was i was not speeding or doing anything..I had my mom in the car and was taking her to therapy..CHP are just (_O_) 's..

well i will be fighting it and proving that i have the intake and header carb stickers..The only thing that he got me on was my FP which i will remove..

Geezo what next? Like the exhaust pipe has anything to do with emissions! Well, my bro is an ex CHP officer and he said that if your car looks riced in the eyes of the law, they are gonna sweat ya regardless. Im always gettin stink eye, and i hear remarks like Elvis or Hollywood? My ride looks stock other than an inch and a half drop. Im curious what type of exhaust are you running? Good luck
