Depends on what your goals are, and how deep your pockets are as well. If you have any specific questions PM me.
I have mine boosted, bored, and built, for primarily pump gas, and occasional race gas. Here are some pics made 743hp at the flywheel on 15 psi

show the graph other wise bull ****.

here is my personal set up,everything is new and i'm still waiting on
some custom parts.i am looking for 700+ off turbo and around 600+ tq
w/o the spray.now whether it does that remains to be seen.

if you indeed have done this......you are the top dog at this boost level.
some of the heavy hitters made a little over 800 at 30+....and they were
using a gt42r and i know that's not what i see in the pic.

i am by not any means bragging. 740 flywheel is only about 600 or so wheel hp. Pretty good but not impressive. I don't have the dyno sheet b/c we were tuning/breaking it in. You can call bullshit or what not but i know what the computer showed. Here is the set up, and you can figure out all the stuff is capable of it.

Corrillo rods
JE 9:1 pistons in 90mm bore
Darton MID kit
Knife-edged/lightened/champered/micropolished crank
All OEM bearings gaskets
Pro-drive oil pump
Cometic head gasket
Skunk2 1mm oversized valves/valve springs/retainers
Crower Turbo Cams
Skunk2 Cam gears
Full port/polish head, and port matched T-body/manifold/head/exhaust manifold/down pipe
AC autotechnic manifold
STR competition fuel rail
Greddy Timing belt
UR underdrive pulleys
STR 70mm t-body
Precesion 880cc injectors
SFP turbo manifold
Tial 40mm wastegate
Precision PT-67

yeah the set up looks killer....but not 743 @15psi killer.and YOU will not
make that power w/a pt67 at 15 lbs.

you are not gonna lose 143 hp from flywheel to wheels sorry.everything else looks good, but just noticed you are using 880's man i bet the were over max.

i'm not a hater in any way.....w/the parts you have in the set up yes can TAKE THAT KIND OF POWER.BUT THE TURBO WILL NOT PRODUCE THAT KIND OF
HP @15 LBS.

I agree with you completely. The numbers are just that numbers. Dyno's i say are estimates. I always figure about 10% off or so, and drivetrain loss is about 10-15%. That is how i got to the 600 or so whp. Either way people can say they have 1000hp and show a dyno sheet but at the track run 11's, and others have 500 and no sheet and run 11's as well. I am no dyno queen and just use them for tuning and not getting into pissing matches about how much i have or you have.

Pt-67 can support close to 800hp, so i think it is quite capable of doing it.

The 880's were pretty muched maxed actually went to 103 duty cycle at one point.

well my point is that turbo will not make 743 @15 psi.

dam 103 dc......you were working the hell out of those 880's.

either way nice set up.what does it do at the track.

so far its a 11.2 at 119, but that's in a 01 accord coupe (full street trim). I am in the process right now of putting in a cage b/c they kicked me out last time, and still getting the bugs out. The car won't hook for **** even with street slicks, so when its all said and done should be mid to upper 10's. I have NOS on it as well but have yet to use it until everything is good.

The block is a H22A4

it is a hijacked thread.......so back to the question- let us know what your goals are and we can point you in the right direction

What about MID sleeves for close deck h22 blocks. Is it reasonable and necessary?

if you plan on boosting i would sleeve the block. At bare minimum i would get the replacement sleeves just to be safe, even if going all motor

its not necessary but a good precaution

I just bought a short block from the junkyard. Its from a 2000 Prelude, so it was pretty new. If you are going to do this make sure you check the block before actually buying b/c most junkyards won't take it back. Its best to get the short block that way you have the original crank, oil squirters, and all the other misc pieces without having to piece it together from other blocks.

Yes, Being an open deck motor i went with the Darton MID kit, the older models (92-96) you can only replace the sleeves i believe. I then bored it out to 90mm.
