Default Broke Block mount?

I just picked up a 1994 LS motor at the salvage yard . The Compression was

210-210-215-210
1 2 3 4

Here is the problem. As i inspected the motor the driver side aluminum mount was
a little low upon inspection it was sheared off the block. the two top bolts that attach to the aluminum broke out. I was wondering if this was possible to fix or not worth dealing with. the third bolt on the bottom was bent but not broke. The piece that sheared off the block was the top two. It looks like it could be aluminum welded.

I've had this same problem on a JDM B16A.

Not a great picture... have one somewhere else.

Basically I just went with a new block because the machine shop wanted about $400 to weld it and tap it again. I have considered taking it to the local technical college and having them use it as a welding project.

I've also considered like shoving a bunch of jbweld in there and just re-tapping it and see if that works. Probably wouldn't but may be a low cost option.

Id just look around for a cheaper place to weld and retap it. You do need to get it done though....thats a major mount.
