Default breaking in a new engine with turbo...?

might sound like a newbie question but i did the search and did some other research but couldnt find anything helpful. i will be putting in a fully built b16 in my car soon (by fully built i mean forged pistons, rods, new valve train, ported polished head), but the thing is i will also be putting on a turbo kit with it along with new clutch. i know that different parts have different break in cycles. what should i do exactly? is there a such thing as breaking in a turbo? it is a street driven car and the nearest dyno is atleast 25-35 miles away. any help would be appreciated.

I would just follow the normal break in period for a new engine- 1000-1500 miles, light on the throttle. This will give your rings time to get used to their new home. As far as the turbo- the 1500 miles should be fine. I ran mine light for about 500 miles and haven't had a problem 20K miles later. Make sure you change the oil after the break in period, as well. GL

just make sure oil is in the turbo when you put it on, the turbo spools so fast theres really no breaking it in. once it spools, its already doing extreme rpms. also, i might recommend breaking in the engine with the turbo off, give the rings a chance to seat good. i didn't and mine never really set good. i got blowby around 18psi-22psi. just my .02

Oh yeah, make sure prior to startup, disconnect the sparkplugs wires and crank the engine over a few times. This allow oil to purge through your engine/ turbo. You don't want to fire it(snail) up dry.
