ALWAYS Important to remember PRIME YOUR ENGINE!!!! crank it by hand a few times with your valve cover off till you see oil start coming out and pressure building up. if not imagine your engine at start up with no oil pressure.

After that
2 ways people have mentionned.

1 is drive the motor easy and change your first oil like 500 miles after along with your filter. debris will come out by the tons in the first foot steps of a motor's start.

2nd is the first as the same but instead for the first like 50 miles drive easy then after that SLAM IT DOWN HARD! reason being you need pressure to seat the rings and such.
i personally havent tried the second (dont have ***** )

As I recall, To break in an engine safely, keep rev's below something
like 3500 and ALWAYS vary your speed and rpm's.
Don't stay at one certain MPH or RPM too long.
And transition rpm's gradually NEVER quickly.
The rings and bearings need to see high and low rpm's to seat properly.
And what was posted above about initial oil changes.
