Default breaking in cams

well im about to throw my head back on tomorrow and i was wondering what the proper break in is for the new cams.....i was told by a couple good sources that 2000 rpm for 20 minutes was the way to do it....so after i break em in that way can i just go out and let em rip or should i take iteasy on the motor for a few days or however long it may need

The 2k/20min thing is really for pushrod domestic engines.Hondas get good direct oiling to the cams. The biggest thing to avoid is long idling time during the first hour or so.Other than that just drive it normal.
