Default Break in cams???

Do u have to "break in" cams, springs, and retainers?

Skunk 2 stage 2s all the way......

Nope. They are a drop in and go install. If you rebuilt the head or something, then yes, but otherwise, no.

Before you romp on the engine, make sure everything is top notch, the car is in tune, ETC.

Make sure everything is okay valve to piston clearance. Valve lash. Let the puppy warm up and away you go.

Yes, you have to break in CAMS. You have to coat them with prelube and then normally the manufacturer reccommends running the engine at 2000 RPM for 1/2 hour.

never heard of that expect with regrinds

as I had

but not for long
they suck ***


never seen or heard of any cam needing break in expect the regrind

ever since JG or Bullfrog did that back in the day

So just make sure they are tunned, which they will be, let um warm up, and then go?

I can just punch it the first run, as long as it is warm, and everything is coo?

What about a 2 ply Head Gasket? Any break ins?

You don't need to break in cams. Just make sure when you install them they have a nice coat of oil all over the cams. Warm it up and go.
