Airboxes
After a little thinking and searching i see that a bigger filter is better, but would it matter if it had a wide open space around it?
If you were using an airbox setup like the comptech icebox, would a filter that is a tyte squeeze inside the box have a different affect from using a filter that has some area around it inside the airbox?

i would think using a smaller filter that had more area inside the box would have a better affect. that way it can use that space to suck air. when using the larger filter with less area around it i would think it would have a harder time trying to get air almost like suffercating it unless u have some sort of a ram air.
if you decide to use an airbox my best reccomendation would be to use a panel filter as opposed to a cone shaped one, simply because u do not have to worry about goin nuts over the available area not taken up by the filter. all of the incoming air will pass through the filter, but i would aslo suggest that u plumb an intake tube through the bumper(ram-air).
