Just drove my eg hatch after engine and brake swap for the first time yesterday, on the way to a honda dealer to pick up a few bits and bobs i needed the car started to pull back hard, by the time i got to the honda carpark i had to really rev the car to move it, the brakes were stuck hard.
to cut a long story short after getting it towed to a garage they told me i needed my calipers reconditioning cus they were seized, they said the piston pushes out but not back in, and as its binding it heats up expands more and gets worse and worse untill i let it cool down.
So theoretically i could drive it home slowly using the e-brake only, but it still happened, i had to get towed again.
are the calipers just not returning to being fully open and wont return after they come in like the garage said or is it something to do with my master brake cylinder?
please help cus i need my car to get to work.
thanks in advance

upon removing the calipers iv found that the far side front is really stuck, as in i cant pus the piston in atall. but looking at the discs the near side disc has gone blue too meaning that that was stuck too, unless i free'd it up getting it off
Remove and inspect all of the caliper slide pins, replace any that are seized or rusting, deburr/clean the caliper slide pin holes as neceessary, lube the new pins, insert, and check for freedom of movement.
Buy a set of caliper seal kits and as many slide pins as you'll need.
Then do the caliper pistons. Remove the caliper piston (as shown in service manual), hone the caliper if needed, deburr/clean the piston as needed, install the new seal, and reassemble the caliper.
