Brake Help!
It all started when my front right brakes started making these screeching noises so I thought my car needed brakes. So I went ahead and bought them for my car and later that day my father had put them on for me because i had to go to work. When I returned from work, I tried the car out and noticed that my car would start to bounce after a while. When I brake and even when im not braking it starts to rattle. Could my rotor be messed up? Does it need resurfacing? Because when I had no brakes it didnt do this. Also, I dont think my dad bled the brake fluid out of the caliper. Cuz this also be the reason why it does this? Im only 19 and dont know much about cars. Is this something I can fix myelf, or am i better off letting a mechanic look at it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanx.

First, what does "bouncing" have to do with brakes?
Second, have you checked the dust shield? My brakes started sqeaking out of nowhere last night, and the shield just started making contact with the rotor. Bent it back and voila.
Yours could be close to hitting and maybe it's vibrating because it still makes contact. I don't know without looking at it, just giving you an idea.
Take the wheel off and spin the rotor, check stuff out, listen for noises, etc..
I'm 19 too

This is the Wheel and Tire Forum, for discussing wheels and tires, not brakes.
There is no special forum for brakes. You'll find the answer to your question in the forum for your model car.
