as long as you only replace the rotor and don't disconnnect the caliper in any way, bleeding the brakes is not necessary.

When you change just the rotors and know that the pads are still good this what you will have to do.
1. Jack the car up and put on jack stands.
2. Take rims off.
3. Get impact screwdriver to take off the two screws that hold on rotor. If you are lucky you can take these off by hand.
4. You will have to take the calipers off in order to take the rotor off so take them off. There are two bolt on the back(don't know size but I think it is 17mm).
5. Take pads off make sure they are wearing evenly. Since the pistons on the caliper are pushed out farther due to the used rotor you will have to screw in the pistion. Put the pads on the same way they came off.
6. Place new rotor onto hub (trying not the get the rotors surface dirty)and screw on.
7. Place caliper on and bolt up.
8. Place wheel on and you should be fine.
9. Get a manual to make it easier for you but you don't need it. It is really easy.

You don't need to bleed brakes when you change rotors nor pads. The only time you need to bleed the brakes is when you've opened the system, which you're not gonna do either way.

True, but if the brake fluid is more than 2 years old, I'd flush it.
