i am either goign to et drilled rotors or probably slotted rotors and ive been looking for a good brake pad for them that will let me stop faster because im doing my gsr swap next week and i only have brakes up front... if i have better pads thats bite harder and blah blah blah, they could wear down my rotors more and does that mean they will warp?
and if they warp, can you get them resurfaced or no?
ive been getting many mixed answers and most people say no but a few people say they can or have heard u can.
thanks in advanced

rotor warp is due to heating up the rotors via braking then letting them cool more rapidly in one place vs another. Primarily due to the brake pad sitting in one spot after a really hard stopping event. (at least that's my understanding of it, I may be wrong)
blanks will stop you the best. More material in contact to the pad. (this has been debated to death, more than once)
If you want a little better braking till you can upgrade the brakes, pick up a set of really good pads and a set of cheap warrantied rotors from autozone or napa. Which ever is closer to you.
Remember tires are everything, they stop the car, turn the car and allow the car to accelerate. Cheap tires + more power = stopping issues.

I'm running Baer Decelerotors in front (slotted and dimpled) with EBC pads.
Rear is also EBC, with stock rotors.
I love em and they weren't very costly... regardless, you shouldn't cut corners when it comes to brakes just to save a little cash, that shniz could save your life!
P.S. of the two you mentioned, I vote for Hawk...

Re: (B16AGUY)
EBC's suck for anything other than street driving.
I have resurfaced drill and slotted rotors in the past.
Also, drilled/slotted rotor eat pads a little quicker too
