sup guys I just did a rear disk swap and integra gauge cluster swap in my 96 civic ex, and now when I accelerate, the e-brake light somes on. When I slow down (brake or downshift) it dissapears? what could be wrong?

 

Check your brake fluid level and top it off if it's low.

 

hey, thanks, just checked and filled it up. it was pretty low. How does this cause the light to come on? just curious

 

well the 2 wires going into the side of the resevoir cap are a switch/sensor that measures the level of the fluid.

 

ahhhh, its all clear to me now

 

very low brake pads in the rear do the same.
