Brake help !!!
I did my drum brakes today, and for some reason the drums do not want to go on. Both sides were a pain, I managed to get the driver side on but it still sounds like it is dragging. The adjustment screw is maxed out and will not get any shorter. The passenger side drum will not even fit on. The drums are in good shape, I did not get them resurfaced but now I'm thinking I should just to see if that will fix the problem. I did notice there is like a little lip around the outer part of the drum where the pad does not touch, maybe this is what is keeping the drum from sliding on. By the way the old pads and the new pads are the same, and they even looked like they had the same amount of meet on them. Anyone ever had this problem ? If not what do you guys think it is ?
